Dismissing unread message notifications on your phone

We love texting from our computers. Unfortunately, when we move back to our phones after using MightyText all day, we have tons of unread message notifications. We’ve heard from many of you that you’ve experienced this issue too.

With the latest MightyText update, you can now easily dismiss these notifications from your phone when you use our Chrome extension or Desktop App.

Turning this feature on is simple. Just enable App Notification Syncing in the MightyText Phone app.

Now, when you receive a new message, you’ll get a notification on your phone:

Since you’re using the MightyText Chrome extension or Desktop App, you can respond to this message directly from your computer:

Once you’ve interacted with this message, the notification on your phone will be dismissed:

Note: currently, this feature is limited to the Chrome extension and Desktop App. However, we plan on rolling this out to all of our other clients soon.
