Last week, Apple announced the ability to send/receive SMS from your Mac in OS X Yosemite.
Welcome to the party, Apple!
As some of our loyal users point out below, we’ve been doing this in MightyText for years (for Android users), as have competing products.
We’d love to build an iPhone version of MightyText, if and when Apple allows developers to integrated with SMS on the iPhone.
So, welcome to the party, Apple. We’re all out of drinks and food, and the DJ is leaving soon, but feel free to hang out and chat with some super cool Android users.
